Viewing- first time

Good for- A good popcorn movie at home on a quiet night.

Fair warning- A potentially inapropriate relationship and a surprise twist ending that isn't original, is a little convenient to wrap everything together, but holds up if you allow it.

Thoughts- My husband turned this on and I had zero interest. I didn't even see what he had selected. When the introduction death hit I was vaguely enticed. Then, Scottland came up and I began watching, as it's a place I would love to see someday. Then the archeology and drama drew me in. I put away my video games and watched. You don't need to know your Norse mythology for this little gem. You've got your cute, nerd character to walk you through what you need to know. I've seen this twist at least 3 times, but all in all, it's a good movie.

Good foreshadowing. Good acting. Good affects, although they don't need too much.
